AWOL

AWOL (Absent Without Leave) means absent from where one should be but without intent to desert. The animation was created with the contributions of visual artists Dan Perjovschi and Raluca Popa. Based on a true story about post-consumerism. Published in the experimental writing and art magazine 叵CLIP.

Dan Perjovschi is a visual artist mixing drawing, cartoon and graffiti that comment on current political, social or cultural issues, whose work has been widely exhibited throughout the world.

Raluca Popa is a Berlin-based Romanian artist working across different media, including drawing, moving image and books. She studied at the Byam Shaw School of Art, Central Saint Martins, London, and the University of Art and Design, Cluj.
